I had one of the most memorable experiences last week. A couple of friends and I got a private tour of the Tim Burton exhibit at the MoMA. The exhibit in itself was incredible, not to mention, running around in there with just a few close friends. Tim Burton was an illustrator in his early years, and it's fascinating to see how his early drawings and doodles shaped his later iconic films.

I took this photo of Hunters before their last show.

Haha! The Vice Magazine story I shot just came out. They did a great job with the layout. It's basically goths, punks, and metalheads hanging out at ihop, then they get in a big food fight and smother pancakes all over the place.

Art That Rocks

I co-curated an art show that opened at 303 Grand St - The Perk St Lounge- The show was great, and so many sweet friends came out and bought art. The show, Art That Rocks, represents a series of artists who are inspired by music. My list of artists include: Tristan Bechet of Services, Hisham Bharoocha of Soft Circle, Lizzi Bougatsos of Gang Gang Dance, Erik Foss, Jesse Hlebo, Alain Levitt, Tara McPherson, myself, and Nick Zinner of Yeah Yeah Yeahs. The show is up until November 22nd at 303 Grand St in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Did I mention I got to see Bad Brains on Halloween? How did that ever happen. Thank you Vice!

I love Halloween in NYC so much. It makes me love the city more and more, and all the amazing, creative people who inhabit it. Nick was Marilyn Manson, and I was Twiggy Ramirez, his bassist.
