Defiance

Some new photos I shot of the actor Jamie Bell for Nylon. He's promoting his new film, Defiance, which looks and sounds amazing, about 4 brothers who build a village in the BellaRussian forest to protect and fight back against the nazis.

PANAMA!

Panama is amazing! I spent the holidays there, traveling around, searching for baby two-toed sloths, checked out an underground rock/metal spot called banos publicos, spent new year's eve there. It's beautiful, with great food, weather in the 80s, beaches, jungles, and city life.

Heart Gallery

This weekend I shot some more kids for Heart Gallery. They are an organization who helps foster children find safe, loving homes. I found out that Gerald was adopted because his parents saw the photo I took of him in the Queens local paper and now he has a home and a family. His life will change forever. When I photographed him last, he told me that he had nobody in the world. Can you imagine being a 13 year old kid and not having anyone.. no friends, no family, no love? Well I'm so psyched that now he does! So this weekend I shot two girls named Egypt and Selina. They're both really awesome. Egypt is really outgoing, and Selina was so shy she hid in her coat the whole time, but by the end of the day she was jumping up and down, hugging me. So sweet. I love those kids. I hope they find awesome families to be a part of.

Also I shot the new Original Penguin campaign. It looks awesome! Shot a cute actor guy for Nylon, and some top secret stuff that can't be mentioned yet. More to come soon! x

The Wall Street Journal shot me shooting video on the first day of filming... they did a video compilation of all the promos created for Spring Summer 09 Fashion Week. I'm in it a few times..
