Akiko from The Big Pink was in town. She's hilarious.. and makes me laugh a lot. We went to see Hot tub time machine, went places with low ceilings, ate noodles, did an impromptu photo shoot, then she played webster hall. The show was really good. Same big sound as last time they played NYC, but it felt more personal this time, they seemed to play with more emotion. It was sweet.
